What are my options for Advertising Space in the Mobile App?

There are 5 main advertising or sponsorship areas of your mobile app.

  1. Start-Up / Splash Screen Ad (640 x 1136 pixels)
  2. Loading Sponsor Video (1080P .mp4)
  3. Home screen/Lobby Ads (1200 x 720 pixels)
  4. Footer Ads (1200 x 180 pixels)
  5. Left-Menu Ad 

You may use all 5 options if desired.
The company may create any of these images to their liking.

Start Up / Splash Screen Ad

  • A splash ad will load in addition to the app's normal splash image.
  • The app will display the conference splash image for 1.5 seconds.
  • Then change to display a company/advertising splash image.
  • You may have more than 1 company advertised here.
  • Splash screens cannot have an embedded URL.
  • Start Up / Splash Screen Ad image dimensions are: 640 x 1136 pixels
    • Note: Image must be 72 dpi PNG format; Non-transparent background; Image should have a solid colour edge and inner padding as image edges may get clipped.
    • Upload to Module Artwork Module Loading Sponsor Ad
      • Currently there are 2 spots, if you need to upload more than 2 images, contact X-CD at: sales@x-cd.com



App Loading Sponsor Video

  1. This is a promotional advertising video (mp4) that will play after the splash screen loads 
  2. Video will play in app for the user with the ability to skip past
  3. Recommended length for video is 30-60 seconds

Home Screen/Lobby Ads

  1. Home screen ads will display on the home screen below the conference banner and above the upcoming session widget.
  2. Home screen/lobby ads will link to the website of your sponsor's choice.
  3. There are 2 ideal shapes for home screen ads and both will have very different outcomes. 
    1. Ideal large home screen ad is 1200px x 720px 
    2. Ideal rotating horizontal image ad space is 1200px wide and 180px tall

  • You may have 1 footer ad or rotate between any number of ads for different companies.
  • Footer ads may be linked to any website.
  • Footer Ad image dimensions are: 1200 x 180 pixels
    • Note: Image must be 72 dpi PNG format; Non-transparent background; Image should have a solid colour edge and inner padding as image edges may get clipped.

Left-Menu Ad

  1. The ideal horizontal image is 1200px wide and 300px tall
  2. In-menu ads will link to the website of your sponsor's choice.
  3. Will display in the left-hand menu of the virtual conference and mobile app
