About Networking Lounges

A networking or social lounge is a room that you can set up in your virtual conference platform to allow attendees to get together and talk bi-directionally (two way, with video, audio, text chat, and screen sharing).
  1. Lounges can be sponsored with artwork, and with lounge entry minimercials
  2. Lounges can be configured by a conference administrator to allow 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 participants into a room at any one time
Open Vs. Scheduled
  1. Lounges can be open (available throughout the duration of the conference) or scheduled (time-restricted)
  1. Scheduled lounges will be visible throughout the duration of the conference, with the date and time that the lounge is scheduled to be open.
  2. The lounge will not be accessible for any attendees to join until the start time of the lounge.
Public Vs Private
  1. Lounges can be public (available to all attendees) or private (restricted to attendees based on specific ribbons on their badges/profiles).
  2. A restricted lounge will not be visible to any attendee without the badge
  3. A private lounge will be visible to attendees with the ribbons that the lounge is restricted to
Moderation
  1. Moderators can be assigned in each social lounge, though they are not necessary
  2. Moderators will be able to enter the lounge even if the lounge is at capacity
  3. Moderators will be able to mute all or kick someone out of the lounge
  4. Moderators can spotlight themselves
