How to Import Final Statuses?

If you are not using the X-CD review module for reviews and you have another method outside of the X-CD system to conduct your reviews, use this feature to import the submission final statuses for submissions collected by the X-CD speaker module.
  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Speaker module
  3. Click Review button
  4. If applicable, select your review module
  5. Hover over Final Status in the horizontal menu and select Import Assignments
  6. On the screen, click the link to download the Import Template file to your computer
  7. Open the downloaded Import Template file (labeled import_abstract_finalstatus_assignments)
    1. Do not remove, move or rename the first row contents.
    2. Populate column A with the submission ID numbers that are from x-cd starting in row 2
    3. Populate column B with the corresponding Final Status ID number that is shown on the Import screen (i.e. the screen where you downloaded the template from)
    4. You may populate column C with text comments or leave blank
    5. Save the template file in .csv format.
  8. Return to the import screen - go back to Step 1 to 5 to open the Import screen
  9. Click the Upload CSV button and select the completed import template file on your computer and click Open button
  10. This will run the import. You will receive an email confirmation message when the import completes.
TIP: Create an import file with one or two submissions and run the import first to familiarize yourself with how it works and to test and confirm it updates as you wish.  If there is an issue, submit a support ticket. Then create a secondary import file to contain the remaining information and run the import.
