Attendee Quick Registration

About This Feature

This feature allows you to create a landing page for users to quickly register for an event where they have a free registration option. This is feature is great for webinars or for members that have free registration where you are only looking for registration numbers rather than a full registration form. You can customize the welcome message displayed to your users and the thank you message once they have registered. There is a built-in email template that becomes available when this feature is enabled and configured. Using one of the existing email filters you can target users that have not registered and that are members/have free registration. Unique URLs are sent to users and we validate users' access to free options. 

Configuration

  1. In the attendee module’s settings area configure quick registration. From the top navigation bar click advanced options → Quick Registration
  2. Enable it and select the free registration value(s) from your main registration field.
    1. Please note the value(s) selected must be free to the users that will receive this otherwise it will forward them to the regular attendee store login page.
  3. Customize your start registration and registration confirmation screens text


Emailing and Email Template

  • Use the first email/download option under the Attendees tab All Contacts Not Registered


    • If required select the contact group(s) that should be emailed the quick registration email


  • There is a preconfigured email template for ease of emailing your contacts.

    • This template will only appear once you have configured your quick registration settings


    • The template will pull in your conference description and some preconfigured text, feel free to edit the text as you see fit. Try to avoid editing the button.


    • Continue using this template and email filter as you get closer to the conference as the filter will not select any contacts that have already registered or started their registration.

    • When a user registers it will send them a confirmation invoice email the same as completing a registration in the attendee store
