The submission portal is a single entry point for all submission modules in a conference. This is particularly useful if you have multiple submission modules and want to send a single link to your submitters. The portal will list the modules available to the user and indicate their participation or the status of their submissions in the module. This includes listing the number of submissions they're affiliated with and alerts for required steps to complete.
The availability of a module to a particular user will depend upon the current access controls (open/closed, open for editing, open for new) as well as the user's participation (has submissions, does not have submissions). For example, if the module is closed for new submissions, and the user did not create a submission, the module will not be visible in the portal. Conversely, a module that is closed to new submissions and editing, the module will be visible to a user who has previously created a submission.
Finding the Submission Portal Admin Area
- Go to the Admin Dashboard
- Click on Manage Program, OR on any submission module for your conference.
- In the left menu, select Submission Portal:

Opening/Distributing the Submission Portal
- Make sure the Enable Submission Portal toggle is turned on.

- Grab the URL from the top of the settings screen by clicking "Copy URL".
NOTE: This link will check if the user is logged in. If they are not, it will have them log in, then redirect them to the submission portal afterwards. If they are, then it will automatically redirect them to the portal.

You can also send out an AutoLoginLinkToSubmissionPortal hotkey if it's available where you're sending out an email.
Configuring a Submission Portal
There are a few options to consider when setting up a submission portal. It's often easier to understand your choices by opening the front-end in another tab and refreshing the view as you configure the settings.
Show/Hide on Profile Home
Like other places in the system, this will display or hide a link on the profile home page.
This allows you to adjust the header label, or add text (such as instructions or a welcome message) underneath the portal header.
Modules to Exclude
By default, the submission portal will find all modules in this conference. To hide certain modules from the submission portal, select them here.
Module Access Controls
For each module in the conference not in the exclude list, adjust the open for new submissions and open for editing submissions toggles here. These are the same settings for each individual module, but the speaker portal provides the controls in one place.
