Ensure the serial numbers of your printers are added to your On Site Registration module.
Look at the bottom of the printers or refer to the X-CD email listing your printer serial numbers.
Log in to your admin site.
Navigate to the registration module.
Click the On Site Module (purple button).
Go to Settings > Printers.
Add the printer serial number and assign it a clear name (e.g., Printer 1, Printer 2, Reg Desk, Exhibitor Printer, etc.).
Unbox all printers and components from the kit.
Plug in and power up each printer.
Position printers near your network source or provided cellular router.
Hardline Internet (Venue):
Use the venue’s unprotected Ethernet line (no login credentials required).
Connect to a network switch if using multiple printers.
Using Cellular Router (Provided):
Power on the router.
Connect the router’s LAN port to the network switch, and then use Ethernet to connect to each printer.
Plug Ethernet cables into the back of each printer.
✅ Success Indicator: Look for a green network icon on the printer screen
Launch the X‑CD OnSite App (pre-installed on provided iPads).

Enter your site identifier (usually your conference acronym, e.g., demo

).
Log in using admin/support credentials.
Tap the gear ⚙️ icon > Select Printer.
Choose your printer (discovered on the network).
Your iPad is now paired to wirelessly print badges via QR scans or lookups.
Navigate to your Event’s Attendee Module.
Click the Purple "On Site" button to access:
Registration tools
Badge printing controls
Reports
Payment collection support
From the printer's touchscreen:
Go to Wizards > Print > Media Calibration.
Run the auto-calibration or manual calibration.
Adjust Tear-Off settings and Feed position if necessary.
Use a USB cable and Zebra Setup Utilities (ZSU):

Look for your printer’s serial number
Kiosk Mode (Self-Serve): Attendees scan their QR code to print badges.
Attendees (Admin Mode): Staff can search by name, view profiles, and print badges.
Tap the QR icon in the app.
Point the camera at the attendee QR code to instantly pull up their record.
Select Session Scan from the app.
Filter and choose the session.
Tap Scan and begin badge scanning.
✅ If the session is ticketed:
"Access Granted" = registered
"Access Denied" = not registered
If your printer won’t feed correctly or errors occur:
Tap the Feed button to cycle labels through.
Double-check media size, sensor alignment, and cut/tear settings.
Run calibration again if issues persist.
