Mobile App Gamification - Exhibitor Scans
This guide explains how to configure the Exhibitor Barcode task within the Gamification module of the Mobile App admin.
Step 1: Navigate to the Mobile App Admin
Go to the Mobile App/Event App Admin area for your event:
Step 2: Open Module Settings

From the Mobile App dashboard, click Module Settings.

In the left-hand menu, click Gamification.
Step 3: Add the Exhibitor Barcode Task

In the Manage Game tab, locate the Add Task to Game dropdown.

Click inside the dropdown search field.

Select Exhibitor Barcode (listed as Scan an Exhibitor Barcode).
Optional: Copy for All Exhibitors
If you want to automatically create this task for every exhibitor:

Click ADD.
Step 4: Associate the Task to a Specific Exhibitor (If Not Copied Globally)
If you did not select “Copy for all exhibitors”:

In the Game Tasks list, locate the newly added Exhibitor Barcode task.

Under the Associated Item column, click the dropdown.

Select the appropriate company from the exhibitor list.

In the Points field, enter the number of points attendees will earn for scanning that exhibitor’s barcode.
(Optional) Adjust:

Max Redeem
-
Max Points
-
No Max (if applicable)
Step 6: Save the Task
Click the Save icon (disk icon) in the Operations column to finalize the Game Task.
You should see a confirmation message indicating the task was successfully updated.
Result
Attendees will now earn points in the Gamification module when they scan the selected exhibitor’s barcode in the mobile app.
