Manage Web Modules

Overview

A Web Module is a defined section or area on a web page.

The web module allows you to segregated the web page area and show specific content depending on the web page itself or depending on who is logged in to the web site.

Examples of contents defined in a web module are:

  • Links
  • Footer area
  • Social Media

How to Add a Web Module?

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Website Management in left side menu
  3. Click Modules in the horizontal menu
  4. Select Add Module
  5. Enter a Module Title
  6. Select Position from available options listed
  7. For Publish on Specific Pages, select which web pages, this will appear on
  8. Set Published to On
  9. Click Add Module

How to Edit a Web Module?

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Website Management in left side menu
  3. Click Modules in the horizontal menu
  4. Select Manage Modules
  5. Click Update button beside the Module name you wish to edit
    • Published - Yes / No to show or hide the module
    • Publish On - Select which pages the module is to appear on
    • Display Only To - Shows module to a member(s) of selected group(s)
    • Hide From - Do not show module to a member(s) of selected group(s)
    • Display Title - Yes / No will show or hide the module title
    • Advanced HTML - allows a webmaster to enter html specific code to the page
  6. Click Update Module to apply your changes
