How to import field options?

When creating a new field on a submission form, depending on the field type such as Radio or Dropdown, you may import a list of field options instead of creating each option one-by-one.

  1. If you have not created the new field yet, then create the field, by clicking the Add Field and entering a Field label, the field type must be a field type where a predefined list of options is relevant.
  2.  Scroll down to the option section, click Import button

  3. A pop-up screen will appear with a link to an import template file, click the link to download the import template

  4. Locate the downloaded import template file from your computer, open it and populate it, then save (ensure to maintain the .csv format when saving)
  5. Return to edit the field, and scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Import button
  6. Click Choose File button to upload the populated import template file
  7. Click Upload button to import the options
  8. Review the imported options, you may edit if the options if you discover typos or to revise an option
    NOTE: Once you run the import there is no ability to delete all or revert back; You may rerun the import, but only to ADD new options, do not include options that already exist otherwise this will duplicate the options.
