In the E-Commerce module, you may create a donation form to collection donations. Contact X-CD to learn more about the donation form or for setting one up.

How to create or add a Donation item

1. Click Dashboard
   
2. Click the Membership tab
   
3. Click the Donations icon
   
4. Click the +Add Donation button
   
5. Enter a Name for the donation in the Title field
   
6. It is optional to enter more information in the Description field
7. Set the Display field to Yes
   Set to No to hide it
   
   
8. Click the Save Changes button to create the Donation Type
   
9. Click Dashboard in the left-side menu to return to the Admin Dashboard
   
10. Click the E-Commerce tab
    
11. Click the Product Management icon
    
12. Click the +Add Product button
    
13. Populate the Product Label with the Name of the Donation
    
14. The Product Category field should be pre-populated Donations. If not, then click in the field and select Donations
15. Click in the Donation Type field and select from the dropdown the Donation Type created from step 8
    
16. If you have an accounting code you wish to associate with the donation, enter it in the Accounting Code field. This will be included in the donation financial reports.
    
17. Leave the Is Digital Good field set to No
18. Click Add Product button to create the Donation product
    
    
19. Click Dashboard to return to the Admin Dashboard
    
20. Next you will want to open the Donation Form and any other forms that you want the new Donation field to appear on and create a new Donation field that is linked to the Donation product.
    
21. Click the E-Commerce tab
    
22. Click the Manage Existing Stores icon
    
23. Click on your Donation form to open it
    
24. Click the Settings button
    
25. Click Registration Setup in the horizontal menu and select Registration Fields
    
26. Click Add New Field button
    
27. In Field Type, select from the dropdown = Donation Field
    
28. In Field Label, enter the Name of the Donation
    
29. For Screen, select the screen you want the Donation to appear on, if there is more than one screen available
    
30. For Financial value Field? Click Financial Value
    
31. Click Add field button to create the field
    
32. Click Add New Option to This Field button
    
    
33. In the Product Category dropdown, select Donations
    
34. In the Store Product dropdown, select the Donation Product
    
    
35. In the Option Label enter an amount such as $25
36. In the Early/Standard Rate field, enter the same amount as the Option Label
    
37. Scroll down and click Add Option
    
38. Repeat steps 32 to 36 to add other preset amounts
    
39. Repeat steps 23 to 37 for each form you wish to edit to add the new Donation
