Creating Exhibitor Discounts

Create a discount for an Exhibitor item purchase

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Exhibitor module
  3. Click Settings button
  4. Click Advanced Options in the horizontal menu and select Manage Discounts
  5. Click Add New button
  6. In the top portion of the Discount screen, select a field or a field option
  7. Enter a meaningful name in the Discount Name field
  8. In the Discount Amount, enter a value in the $ if you want to apply discount equal to a dollar value, or enter a value in % if the discount to be applied is a percentage off of the item amount
  9. Set Active to Yes
  10. In Max Use, enter a numeric value for how many times the discount may be used in total overall.


Example of a 25% discount on a virtual booth package for a Platinum sponsor and the discount may only be used by 5 companies.


Create an Attendee type discount for an Exhibitor item purchase

You may create discounts associated with an exhibitor item purchase, such as a sponsor level that will auto-allocate free registrations.

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Exhibitor module
  3. Click Settings button
  4. Click Advanced Options in the horizontal menu and select Manage Discounts

  5. Click Add New button
  6. Scroll down to the bottom half of the screen to the Exhibitor-Attendee Discounts section
  7. Select from the Exhibitor Selection dropdown the corresponding Exhibitor item that needs to be purchased to receive the discount e.g. Platinum Sponsor level has to be in the Exhibitor cart.
  8. Select from Attendee-Discounted Value the corresponding item that is on the Attendee Registration that will be discounted e.g. Exhibitor Only Registration option
    NOTE: The field or option has to be created on the Attendee Registration in order to be available in this dropdown list. If it does not appear, then review your Attendee Registration form to ensure a field/option has been created)
  9. Enter a meaningful name for Discount Name
  10. For Discount Amount, if the discount being received is 100% complimentary registration, then enter 100 in the % field; if it is a 50% discount, then enter 50 in the % field; if it is a dollar amount discount, then you can enter the amount of the discount in the $ field, e.g. if they only receive $50 off an exhibitor registration, enter 50 in the $ field.
  11. For # of Discounts Awarded, enter the total number of associated discounts for this exhibitor item purchase, i.e. A Platinum Sponsor receives 5 complimentary Exhibitor Only registrations
  12. Click the Add Exhibitor-Attendee Discount button to create the discount
