About Corporate Member Types

A corporate member type is defined with a set term for the membership and may include a predetermined number of employees who fall under the corporate membership who are not required to pay and/or purchase individual memberships.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All employee membership types need a member type group defined in Groups and a member dues category in the Dues Management module (even the complimentary employee memberships that fall under a corporate membership).

NOTE: Pre-define your individual membership group and individual member type dues first.

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Corporate Membership in the left-side menu
  3. Click Settings in the horizontal menu
  4. Select Membership Types
  5. Click Add Membership Type button
  6. Populate the Corporate Membership Type label with the name of the membership
  7. Select the Membership Term from the dropdown list
  8. If applicable, to define individual memberships that fall under the main corporate membership, click Add Individual Memberships button and select from the dropdown list the individual membership type, then enter a numerical value for the number of individual memberships that are automatically included under the Corporate Membership
  9. Click the Save button


How to Edit a Corporate Member Type label

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Corporate Membership in the left-side menu
  3. Click Settings in the horizontal menu
  4. Select Membership Types
  5. Click the Edit button beside an existing Member Type
  6. Apply the revisions
  7. Click the Update button to save

How to Edit the pre-defined number of Individual Memberships allocated to a Corporate Membership Type

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Corporate Membership in the left-side menu
  3. Click Settings in the horizontal menu
  4. Select Membership Types
  5. Click the Edit button beside an existing Member Type
  6. Apply the revisions
  7. Click the Update button to save

How to edit and update Corporate Membership fees?

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Corporate Membership in the left-side menu
  3. Click the Corporate Membership Store in the horizontal menu, if you have more than one store, then select the appropriate store from the dropdown list
  4. Click the Settings button
  5. Click Store Fields in the horizontal menu
  6. Click Edit for the corresponding Membership fee field
  7. Scroll down to the options, click Edit for the membership fee option
  8. Update the rate field containing the price
  9. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen, click the Update Option button to save the price change
  10. Repeat steps 7 to 9 for each price change
NOTE: These changes will only apply to new / renewing corporate memberships going forward. This will not update or change the existing Corporate Membership data.
