Contact Profile History

Contact Profile History provides a detailed audit trail of all changes made to a contact’s profile. For each update, X-CD records:

  • Who made the change
  • Where the change was made
  • What fields were modified
  • The previous and updated values

This allows administrators to track changes and maintain data accuracy with full transparency.

Viewing a Contact’s Profile History

To review a contact’s full history:

  1. Navigate to the contact’s profile in X-CD
  2. Click Contact History in the horizontal menu
  3. Select the Profile History tab

Reverting a Change

If a change was made in error or needs to be undone, you can revert it directly from the history log:

  1. Locate the relevant change in the Profile History table
  2. Click Revert on that row
  3. Select the fields you want to restore
  4. Click Submit

A new history record will be created, and the contact profile will be updated accordingly.

Undoing Small Profile Changes

If a single field was accidentally updated incorrectly, you may be able to revert this change. Go to the contact profile and find the field. Look for the history icon beside the field label:
This will open a modal with the changes for that field. You can revert it to a particular change by clicking "Insert this Value".
