Company Contact Roles

Company Contact Roles

You may define different types of common company roles and associate the roles to company contacts. Then in other areas such as emailing a company, you may set a filter on the role(s) for whom should receive the emails. Examples of common company roles are: Billing Contact, Sales Representative, Accounts Payable, President, etc.

How to Define Company Contact Roles

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Companies Module in left-side menu
  3. Click Settings in horizontal menu
  4. Select Contact Roles
  5. Click Add Role button

  6. Enter a Role Label
  7. Click Save Changes button

  8. Repeat steps 5 to 7 for each role you wish to define

How to Associate a Company Contact to a Company Role

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Companies Module from the left-hand menu
  3. Click the row of the company to open the company profile
  4. Click Company Contacts in the left menu within the company profile

  5. Under the All Company Staff section of the screen, click the Roles button next to a person

  6. Click the checkbox of the role to designate to the person

  7. Click Save Changes button

How to Remove a Company Contact from a Company Role

  1. Click Dashboard
  2. Click Companies Module from the left-hand menu
  3. Click the row of the company to open the company profile
  4. Click Company Contacts in the left menu within the company profile
  5. Scroll down to the contact, click Roles button
  6. Uncheck the checkbox next for the role to remove from the contact
  7. Click Save Changes button
