Adding Rates for Authors/Chairs
If you are using the program or submission modules, you may want to give special registration rates to authors or chairs in your program. The Special Speaker Logic area will let you identify who should see this rate.
Click Dashboard
Click Attendee Module
Click Settings
Click Registration Setup in the horizontal menu
Select Registration Fields
Click the Edit button beside the field to update.
Click the Edit button beside the option to update.
Scroll down to Author/Session Chair Display Logic and click On.
You will be presented with a modal:

First, select the role(s) which should see this rate. Then, you may optionally exclude contacts in the selected roles based on whether or not they are in particular contact groups. Finally, you'll have a range of additional optional fields, based on the role(s) you selected, to further refine your targeted users.
Examples of refined targeting:
- Session Chairs, but only of the type "Moderator"
- Authors, but only Presenters
- Authors, but they must be Presenters and their presentation must already be scheduled in a session.
- Session Chairs, that are Moderators, but are not part of my Scholarship Recipients contact group.
