There is one default Contact Form defined in your X-CD site. This Contact Form contains all of the fields you want to be associated with a contact profile and the fields are shared across all modules. Within each module, you will be able to control the display of each contact profile field using the Contact Profile screen to control the attributes of each field. You may set a field to be displayed or hidden. If a field is displayed, you may set it to required. In the speaker module, you may set the fields that will distinctly apply to the primary submitter and for co-authors. When setting the contact profile attributes at a module level will control the display of the contact profiles fields displayed to users accessing your site from the front-end landing page url and will override the settings for the field that has been set on the default contact form. The attributes set on the default contact form are used when a user accesses the profile home page url.
Examples of fields that you may want to turn off or on for specific modules:
Biography field - you likely do not want to ask individuals who are registering for a meeting to provide their Bio, so in the registration module settings, contact profile screen, you will set the display attribute on the Biography = to No, but in your speaker submission module, you will want to display the field and you may want to set it required if you want to make it mandatory.
Address fields - you will likely want to ask for a contact's address information so it can appear on their invoice, in this case, in the registration module settings, contact profile screen, you will want to set the Address fields to display and also you can set those fields to be required. It may be less important to have the address fields when a person submits to the submission module and you can set the address fields to not display or just display the Country field.
